Keith A. Colombo, PE, CSP
President
Mr. Keith Colombo holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in
Safety Engineering and is a Certified Safety Professional. He has
both industrial and system safety experience. Since his degree
confirmation, his work has involved
identifying design-induced hazards.
Mr. Colombo built his knowledge and reputation as an engineer
with United Technologies Corporation, Martin Marietta Corporation,
and Boeing Aerospace Company.
He is recognized nationally as an expert in hazard analysis and risk
reduction in design of products and processes. He has applied the
safety design philosophy and safety requirements of NASA and the
Department of Defense (DoD) to his safety analysis of systems
associated with the space shuttle's Orbiter, it's payloads, and DoD
launch systems. While at United Technologies, Mr. Colombo was the
Industrial Safety manager of their Optical Systems Division.
He is a
professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers
(ASSE) as well as the American Society for Testing and Materials
(ASTM). He is currently on the ASTM E34
standards committee on occupational safety and
health.
